Judge

Why do we judge? Why do we feel the need to mistreat people because they are different ? What does God say about judging people? These are questions I ask myself every time I see people in the world, who feel the need to judge someone. You know growing up one thing my mom has taught my brothers and I was to never judge someone, because you never know what they are going through. She also said that because we went through many trials and tribulations as well, so we knew we weren’t perfect. Now yes some things in life we didn’t have to worry about, but that didn’t mean that we were going to judge others just because we would have something they didn’t have. You see in life you are going to be faced with people who are going to judge you as soon as you walk into the room. They don’t even have to know who you are, you could just be the person wearing pajamas in a room full of people with suits on and be the riches one in there. But they wouldn’t know that, they just see someone who looks to be in the wrong room to them. You see people nowadays don’t judge by the continent of your character, they judge you by your race, your clothes, the way you walk, the way you talk, and even the way you eat. You could be the most helpful person there and they’ll see you as someone who doesn’t care about anything including yourself. That’s why you’re not suppose to care about what anyone has to say about you. Doesn’t matter if it’s something good one day because the next it could be bad. Just remember people are going to judge, so let them judge, doesn’t mean that they know the real you, they just know what you allow them to see.

  1. This is a good reminder! Some people forget it doesn’t matter where you come from or what you look like. I’ve often been judged based on the country I come from and looked down to because I wasn’t British (I live in the UK). People have refused to acknowledge my presence in many rooms simply based on my background. So, I agree! We need to stop judging people around us.
