We have a lot of people in this world, who I would consider to be broken pieces. These are the ones who have been hurt by something or someone and it has changed them every since. It has changed the way they think, the way they act, and most importantly the way they treat themselves. These are people who usually come from families or relationships where they were treated like shit and not cared for and it tends to stay with them throughout their life. It stays with them because they feel like someone who they loved deeply or something they loved just turned around and stabbed them in the back. I have learned that this causes people to do things they never thought they would do such as: smoking, drinking more, or having sex with anybody just to feel something besides the pain they are feeling. But in the end it does nothing for them but cause more pain. They try to use it as a distraction when in reality it’s just causing more suffering for them on the inside. But I’m not here to judge those people because they have a story like everyone else’s that no one knows about. But I’m here to let you know that these people are out there, heck you could be one of them, you could be a brother or sister of one of them, you even could be dating someone like that. But our job is to help heal, not break down, fix, not destroy, love, not hate and rebuild these broken pieces that are all around us.
